Have you heard the phrase, “The straw that breaks the camel’s back?”. Yeah, I bet you probably have. Or better yet, I bet that’s happened to you.

That’s what happened to Petra MacDougall and her husband after their job of caretaking ended. That change was the thing that made them both realize their relationship was in trouble.
And they knew they didn’t want to separate.
So instead, they decided to do the work. And not just couples therapy, but they spent 6 hours a day in meditation to uncover hidden pain and to TRULY work on their issues.
I know, I bet when you read the “spent 6 hours a day in meditation” you were probably like, “how the heck does that even work?!?”. I had that same question, and Petra goes all into what that looked like for her.
Ok, so if you know your relationship is in trouble and needs work, maybe 6 hours of meditation a day isn’t the answer for you. In this episode of Imperfection with Intention, Petra goes into what to do if you know you need to do the work. And spoiler alert, a LOT has to do with some much-needed self-reflection.
